The subversion repository will be moved from a server in
Dallas, TX to one in Cambridge, MA. The new subversion repository home
has more bandwidth, allows for physically access, and will reduce overall cost. In addition to the move, I will be doing the following: 1)
The existing “main” branch will be moved
into a “sipxecs.old” branch along with the relevant tags and
branches. This branch is an older version of the sipXecs product
available from sipxecs.sipfoundry.org. The contents will be kept
for historical purposes. 2)
The “branches/sipXtapi” branch will become
the new “main” 3)
The “sipXtapi.wince”, “sipXtapi-UC”,
and “bandreasen-sipXtapi-AOL-merge” branches will be closed.
This will leave the “sipXtapi-AOL” and “sipXtapi-media-update”
branches. The developer impact should be minimal. You will need
to accept a new security certificate (if using https) and branches\sipXtapi
developers will need to issue a “svn switch –relocate” to
your existing checkouts . You do not need to check-in prior to the move. I’ll send email once the move is complete and provide
additional instructions. I expect the move to take around 2 hours.
To minimize down time, I will likely perform steps 1 and 3 over the next few
hours. Best regards, Bob Andreasen |
