Chris Parfitt updated XCF-2537:
-------------------------------

    Priority: Major (was: Minor)

I also ran into this issue today I created 3 conferences called Chris Conf1,
Chris Conf2, Chris Conf3 with spaces.
This has a bad implication as the GUI accepts spaces and gives no errors to the
user then the Conference does not work.
Raising Status to Major as this issue is likely to be re-created by end customer

> Project: sipXconfig
> Issue Type: Bug

>
> When creating or editing a conference on the Freeswitch conference bridge,
> the conference name becomes the SIP user part of a request sent to that
> bridge (via an alias in alias.xml, that maps the desired extension to the
> conference name).
> Thus the name must be restricted to SIP user part conventions, else things
> will not work.
