Hi all, I played a bit more with
my problem below and found, that if I set parameter ‘transfer extension’
in AA options to usual user extension, then “transfer on failure”
works. If I set it back to the extension
of default AA, the problem comes back. Am I doing something
wrong? I guess that it rather
looks like a problem… Thanks and regards, Nikolay. From:

[mailto:sipx-users-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Nikolay Kondratyev Hi All, I want to have an AA which would play a custom prompt
to the user and then transfer the call to default AA. I tried to use “transfer on failure” AA
feature – but alas… I created new AA, named “wrong_number”
with the following options: Inter-DTMF Timeout – 1 Overall DTMF timeout – 1 Maximum Number of DTMF tones – 10 Replay count – 0 Invalid response count – 0 Transfer on failures – checked Transfer extension – 1000 (which is the
extension of default AA). Actions are assigned to “0” and
“1” buttons, but I don’t think it matters, because I’m
interested in what is happening when user does not press any button. I assigned extension 1011 to this
“wrong_number” AA. I can dial 1011 and hear my custom prompt. I expect that after the prompt is played and user
does not press any button, the call to be transferred to extention 1000 (default
AA) after 1 second. Actually I have the following: The custom prompt is played. Then I hear about 1 or 2 seconds of silence. Then I hear: “Please hold while I transfer your call” Then “An error occurred while processing your
request” And then “Thank you, good by”. Please advise what is going on and what am I doing
wrong… Snapshot is available at ftp://sipx:sipx@xxxxxxxxxxxx/sipx-configuration-sipx4.lab.nstel.ru.tar.gz
(just in case). Sipx version 3.10.2. Thanks in advance, Nikolay. |
