I would be also OK with keeping java dependency in sipxcommons
only and having all other RPMs depend on sipxcommons.
That sounds nice and clean. I'll do that, unless I hear otherwise from
sipXcommons, sipXbridge, sipXivr, or sipXpage owners.
Speaking for sipXivr and sipXpage...try it and see. I don't see why it
wouldn't work (they work with IBM's JVM after all, right?), so we know there is
nothing tied to java-sun. The only issue would be some odd incompatability
(like you found with Tapestry), or some bug in part of the JVM (like we found
with IBM thread scheduling under load).
