[sipX-dev] mediaServer: How Apache cooperate with OpenVXI?

hello:

We want to install the mediaServer on another Linux server in order to improve
the capability of users.

We think that the mediaServer linclude two main components: Apache Server &
OpenVXI. Apache works as a http server which provide static Vxml files and
dynamic Vxml files generated by CGI, and the OpenVXI works as a VoiceXML
interpreter. The call is connected to OpenVXI which is a Voice browser with
functions of sending http request to Apache and reserving vxml files. Is there
any mistake within our opinions?

It is said that the sipxvxml is combined with OpenVXI v2.0, sipXportLib,
sipXmediaLib, and sipXtackLib. I want to know if this OpenVXI has already
included recognitions & prompt engine, and Telephony server or not? Is it
necessary to install sipxpbx component for the separate mediaServer.

At present Apache only accepte the http request from local machine, so could we
install another Apache server cooperate with OpenVXI on the same machine to
solve this problem? Otherwise is it bettern to use remote connection between
Apache and OpenVXI? If so, what we should notice about establishing such
connection?

we appreciate for your advice.
