Hi,
I'm starting to
get my hands around SipX, and wanted to find out a little more
information. I've tried poking around the Wiki and a few other places, and
haven't found answers, so I was hoping someone here would be able to point me in
the right direction. I've played with asterisk a bit, but it's a bit of a
PITA to configure, etc.
From my
understanding SipX is simply the PBX software to get the phones talking to a SIP
gateway device. Based on this...
I would like to
know if it's possible to use an asterisk box as a SIP gateway? I have
a few Adit600 boxes with FXO/FXS ports and CMG Router cards. I was going
to use them with Asterisk, but I'm moving away from that platform.
Also, I
would like to be able to use some VOIP providers to route calls to my SipX
box. Not sure if this is possible, but also can use an asterisk box as a
gateway device.
Thanks in
advance.
